Welcome to our City of Ephesus website. The youngest Heard County Municipality, the City of Ephesus was incorporated in 1964. Before then it was known as Loftin. It was named Ephesus because the church and school were called Ephesus Baptist and Ephesus Elementary named for the biblical city. We encourage you to visit this website frequently in order to keep up with useful information, not only about the upgrades to the water system, but about our little City and what we have to offer also.
The City of Ephesus Water Department is in the process of upgrading our water system. Over the next few months new service lines and meters will be installed. If you are interested in renting our Community Center for your next event, please contact City Hall at (770) 854-8616 for more information. Additionally, you may also reserve the ball field pavilion for your gathering at no charge but reservations are required. Please contact us with any questions or for more information.
